I didn't know MMObay was doing a $3 verification to sell. By that, do you mean that all sellers are going to have to drop a few bucks before they post an offer in the forum? - (It appears to have worked for real poor) although I know that 'free' has more mass appeal and is a better standard for start ups.
My understanding is that a lot of MMs do it for free as a community service and as a way to get rep, rather than just as a way to make $20-30 each time. e.g. I've seen people offer it for half that. Some of them simply just want the recognition of being a valued member.
In an exclusive community, I could see MMing being something that could even become a full time job if the price was fixed and there were few MMs. Charging by the month for the right could make it highly exclusive.
50 native feedback to do it seems awfully high. One thing that's a big problem is that feedback isn't native. Hopefully, we'll see Trustwho adopted at all the major forums. I'm going to give Marcus some time to breath and relax before asking about how to integrate here at rpgreseller. EGS is supportive, MMObay already has it. That's a good step in the right direction.
200 FB on EGS, that's really high. Congratulations on the achievement!
90MM per month isn't bad at all. That's approaching the ability to just do that as a full time job if the pay is coming through. I've heard that there were some payment issues at EGS and some MMs backed out of the business.
I knew you had a lot of experience, but not that much.
Any feedback on how MMing ought to be done? I haven't established a system for that, and I'm still setting up the site for traffic but I believe I'll one day have a tipping point and it'll all happen... what is the ideal way to set up MM at a community like this?
