How to create profiles for selling
How to take screenshots for selling

Steps for screenshots:
1. Watch the video.
2. Use maximum screen resolution.
3. Press the print screen key. Do not use screen capture software. Go to your screenshots directory.
4. Do not open the screenshots. Do not edit them, modify them, or change them. Leave them alone.
5. Send the screenshots to reseller@rpgreseller.com

I do not use armory profiles because they reveal name and server. Profile instructions are below.

Rpgoutfitter profiles
1. Go to rpgoutfitter.com
Locate Add Ons & Downloads.

Download CharacterProfiler
Install the addon
Put it in wow/interface/AddOns
Start WoW, log in to character select. Turn on plugins, load out of date plugins.
Log into each character that you would like to profile and follow this process:

1. Open the bank screen.
2. Open each tradeskill to view your recipies.
3. Open your keyring, move all keys to a carried bag.
4. Put all mounts into the same bag, at the top.
5. Put crappy gear in the bank.
6. Put gear sets into carried bags.

Your character screen has a 'save' button in the top left corner. Click it.
Use Notepad to open the file with which has been created for you.
at. C:\wow\WTF\Account\youraccountname\SavedVariables
Press CTRL + H

Type your real character name, and a new name, click replace all.

Upload the file - File Upload Page

Character Screenshots

Screenshots help you sell. Most forums allow them. Use IMG tags.

Include the full http:// or it won't work.

Taking effective screenshots
This screenshot is a combination of two full screenshots.
Do not edit your screenshots unless you are selling on your own!

Since Shamans are a hybrid class, it is important to get their melee AND their casting stats.

Log into your character and turn off all buffs (This keeps the screenshot accurate. What they see is what they get.)

Open your character information screen. In wow, pressing Z will unsheath your weapons and make you look better. If you are selling on your own, you might also want to take a regular screenshot that just shows what you look like.

While you are going through this process, it is important to mouseover any stats that display extra information. If you are a mage, your spell crit % which is displayed might be 13%, but if you mouse over, you see the fire spells are 24%. Either explain that missing information in the forum post, or take a screenshot of that information from the mouseover.

Do not send me more than two screenshots per character. If hover stats such as spell crit % have values I need to know about, then use your keyboard and type the values. I will add that to your auction description.

How to take the screenshot:

The easiest way of taking a screenshot is to have the video game client do it  for you. Set your resolution high, and set the client to full screen mode. For most games, the screenshot key is mapped to the key shown in this picture. The game client will place the screenshot in a location such as: C:\wow\Screenshots If you have taken many screenshots and cannot locate your screenshot, then click on View and select Details, then click on the Modified column of your window. Screenshots will be arranged according to date and time. Screenshots are an important tool for proving account ownership. Anyone can find a profile and claim that they own it, but they will probably lack screenshots to go with it. Most games have a /time command that can be used to show that your screenshot was recent.

If I am going to sell for you, do not edit or host your screenshots, send to me by email reseller@rpgreseller.com

Editing your screenshot:
For safety, you must remove your character name by marking over it. For presentation, you may wish to crop your screenshot. (Cut out the stuff you want to separate it from the rest of the picture. This reduces size and causes more focus on the intended subject.) The easiest and most accessible program for editing your screenshot is mspaint. Click on your start button, click run, type mspaint, then press enter. This program is very basic, but gets the job done.

Mspaint and the Print Screen button can be used to take pictures of anything, even if the game client isn't mapped to that key. Windows uses that key to send whatever is in your screen into your 'clip board' - if you load a screen into memory, open mspaint, and then select EDIT and PASTE - the screenshot will be loaded into mspaint.

Set your wow client resolution to the highest resolution and your font to something that is big and easy to read. If you do not, your screenshots will be hard to read.
